Logan and Spencer Weldon Irrevocable
R. Geoffrey Weldon
1960 – 2014
Losing a dear friend and family member is a difficult part of life to deal with and to accept particularly when it is a person such as Geoff who has touched so many people’s lives all around the world. It is so great to see how blessed Geoff was to have so many people that cherished their relationship with him and have now reached out with many words of support and prayers for his family as well as offers of generosity to his wife and children.
As untimely as Geoff’s departure from this world has been, it cannot be more evident than in the eyes of Logan and Spencer, his 18 year old son, and 15 year old daughter. They can be thankful that they are both old enough to have clear memories of all the wonderful times they have spent with their father. Whether it be at the family home in Crystal Lake, Il; family and relatives houses at the Jersey Shore (Manasquan, NJ); or their Grandparents house in Aiken, South Carolina. These are the times they will cherish and remember for the rest of their lives.
Greg, Geoff’s twin brother, will recount conversations regarding Greg’s responsibility for the continued support and growth of Logan and Spencer, should anything every happen to Geoff. How did he know? With those marching orders in mind, Greg has spearheaded this Memorial Fund in an effort to augment the educational planning for Logan and Spencer.
Thank you for visiting the Logan and Spencer Weldon Irrevocable Children’s Trust web site. The Trust was established in memory of Geoff, a father, a husband, a brother, a son and an exceptional friend to the rest of us. With the escalating costs of college education looming on the horizon, and Geoff’s premature departure, Greg and friends felt it important to emphasize the hardship now so that we all may act accordingly through contributions to the Trust.
The Trust is a tribute to our friend, who will be missed dearly by many, but most by his wife Jill and his two children, Logan and Spencer. Thank you for your generosity.
